Facebook: Can you believe that TOGETHER WE BUILT A HOME IN A WEEK? Building the home for the Barobi Family was an experience that we will never forget! We have had the opportunity to get to know them and are completely honored to have been involved. "We lived in a tent in Africa, and now we will have our very own home," said Azida in a press conference earlier this week. We are utterly overwhelmed by the support of our subcontractors, suppliers, community partners, volunteers, city officials, food and drink suppliers and so many more. To see some of our employees and subcontractors work for over 24 hours straight at times was inspiring.

To top everything off, the Barobi Family was surprised today with Scholarships to Weber State University, a $12,500 donation toward the construction of their home from America First Credit Union, a new car from God's Garage, a gift certificate for $1000 to Costa Vida, home products and personal care products along with a fully stocked fridge and a $800 grocery certificate from Young Living Foundation. The community and business support has been unbelievable. We are grateful to be a part of this community!

Facebook: This week culminated with giving the Mayo family their New Forever Home. "On a scale of 1-10, I love my new room 10,000" said Haylee Mayo the 8-year-old daughter after seeing her new room for the first time. Who would have ever imagined that the Wadman Corporation team along with all of their amazing subcontractors, suppliers and volunteers could complete not one but two homes in only 8 days? The last 8 days seem like a whirlwind and the emotions we have felt are hard to put into words. Our team has felt utter exhaustion and also overwhelming love and appreciation for the opportunity to be involved in this once in a lifetime opportunity.

We honestly can't thank everyone who participated enough! The team from Extreme Makeover Home Edition are experts at what they do and have captured the story of these two families. We are excited to watch these two episodes in season 10. Our subcontractors were so generous with their time and resources and so patient and kind as they all worked on top of each other to complete these projects. Often times it looked like ants running through the house as they all worked to contribute their piece to the homes for these amazing families.

Most of all, it just feels good to be involved in such a great cause! The feeling that you get when you sacrifice and give to someone else is something that has brought us closer as a team at the Wadman Corporation. We hope that you were able to come out and experience it with us!!! If not, make sure and watch the episodes in season 10 so you can get to know these amazing families and also remember all the good that has happened right here in the Ogden area in these amazing communities.
