This 2017 service project will live in our hearts and memories for a very long time, it was very ambitious and benefited 9 families immediately and countless future ones. With the help of twenty Wadman partners and weeks of planning, we remodeled all nine YCC Family Crisis Center apartments. This included new wood laminate flooring, all new paint, new LED light fixtures and ceiling fans, new plugs and switches, new plumbing fixtures, all new smoke detectors, new curtains...
We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all those that contributed to making the annual Wadman Corporation Charity Golf Tournament a huge success this year. As a result of your generosity, we were able to donate to two of our favorite local charities, the YCC and Youth Impact. Both these charities work hard continually to make a difference in the lives of families in the Ogden area.
For this years service project we were spread out all over the county. We utilized our new construction communication tool FieldLens. Everybody received all direction and tasks right on their mobil phones. The project managers could track all the progress happening at the four worksites in real time.
This year we went down to Davis County to help out the Family Connection Center. Their mission is to empower families to eradicate poverty and abuse from their lives by building self-reliance and strengthening family relationships.
This year Wadman partnered with Ogden city to give the community a new dog park. The space had already been carved out by Ogden City at Miles Goodyear Park, but they needed some community support to make it happen. We jumped at the opportunity to give a new amenity to out city.
This years leadership conference service project was the extreme makeover of the transitional housing at Your Community Connection in Ogden. There are nine apartments at the YCC that domestic violence survivors use to get back on their feet and they were in need of some TLC.
